Policy
- For the trial, the payment is due before you pick up your pup.
- For boarding and daycare requests, your pup’s spot is reserved at the time the deposit is paid. The total deposit amount for boarding is 100% up to the first two nights, and an additional 50% for any remaining nights. For example, if you reserve four nights, the deposit is 100% for the first two nights and 50% for the remaining two nights.
- The remaining balance not covered by your deposit is due before or at the time you pick up your pup.
- There is a 48 hour cancellation refund policy. If any cancellations are made more than 48 hours from the start date of your reservation, you will be fully refunded. If any cancellations are made less than 48 hours from the start date, the deposit will be forfeited.
- We have limited spots and reserving your puppy’s spot means we are turning down someone else. As such, once the boarding begins, then we will not issue any refunds for schedule changes. For example, if you reserved six days and you pick up your puppy two days early, you still must pay for the full six days before pick up time.
- During busy holiday weeks, the cancellation period may extend beyond 48 hours, depending on the holiday. Please ask while reserving your spot for clarification. (boarding reservation for Dec 15- Jan 6 has two weeks cancellation period instead of 48 hours).
- Each overnight boarding period ends at 9am the following day. If your pup stays after 9am but leaves before 5pm, that day counts as a daycare. If the pup stays longer than 5pm, that day counts as another boarding, which again lasts until 9am the next day.
- Please take your dog out for a bathroom break before you drop off.
- Once the payment is done, I’ll reserve your pup’s spot
- We understand that every dog is unique, and some may need time to adjust to a new environment before their stay. To ensure the comfort and well-being of your pet, we strongly recommend scheduling a trial boarding session before the actual boarding, especially for short-term stays. For long-term stays, trial boarding is mandatory to ensure your dog’s smooth transition.
- However, if you choose not to schedule a trial boarding session for short-term stay, please be aware of the following:
- Backup Care Plan Requirement: If, during their stay, we observe that your dog is not adjusting well or appears uncomfortable, we will prioritize their comfort and safety. In such cases, you must have a backup care plan in place to ensure that we can act swiftly if needed.
- Communication of Backup Plan: You are required to provide us with the details of your backup care plan prior to the start of the boarding session. This helps us respond efficiently and take the necessary steps to ensure your dog’s comfort and well-being.
- Since we run our pet-sitting business from home, we don’t include access to our personal restroom as part of the service. We hope this doesn’t cause any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding
